About Me
I am a qualified counsellor specialise in Transactional Analysis (TA). I qualified in 2025 and now working towards advanced psychotherapist status. TA counselling is a relational and reflective form of counselling that explores how past experiences influence present patterns, emotions, and ways of relating. My work centres on building a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, authentic, and collaborative.
My Experience
I support clients aged 16+ and have worked with a wide range of client needs, supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds in both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy. I also have a strong interest in working with trauma and eating disorders in particular —whether acute or complex—and in understanding how eating-related struggles often intertwine with earlier experiences, relational dynamics, and wider socio-political contexts. I believe eating disorders do not appear in isolation; they are often shaped by layers of emotional, relational, and environmental influences. I also have experience of working with a wide range of other concerns, including anxiety, mood, distress. stress and more.
How I Work
I bring a warm, relational, and curiosity-driven approach to therapy. I aim to truly get to know the individuals I work with—their experiences, their struggles, and their hopes. I am particularly attuned to the threads that run through a client’s story, helping them make sense of repeating patterns and the roles these patterns may have played in their lives.
Our work moves at a pace that feels safe for you. My intention is to build a relationship that supports gentle exploration, fosters increased self-understanding, and empowers you to move toward greater freedom—whether from disordered eating, trauma, anxiety, mood or other coping strategies that may once have felt necessary.
I hold an awareness of the broader contexts—social, cultural, and political—that shape clients’ experiences, and I approach therapy with deep respect for each person’s resilience, complexity, and capacity for change.
